My Expertise

I am a helpdesk engineer, currently working for TechWyse - a managed service provider based in Essex that offer services for clients across the United Kingdom. I started as an apprentice taking the ICT - Support Technician course with City & Guilds. My personal goals are to strive for personal self improvement and progression, and to obtain new Information Technology certifications to further my knowledge working with various systems in IT.

I completed my apprenticeship as an ICT Support Technician with City & Guilds, with my training provided by Intequal. I am incredibly proud to have reached a distinction grade, which was assessed based on an independent client facing project, a number of written reports and a professional interview with an expert in the field.

Datto AutoTask CRM Cisco Meraki

Working on the helpdesk with either regular tickets or more involved projects, I am well versed with the various productivity and ticketing tools needed for my work. I have certifications with Datto, AutoTask and Cisco Meraki to name just a few! In the past I have enjoyed learning about previous RMM tools on the helpdesk, such as N-Able and the included automations/monitoring systems.

Now that I've finished my apprenticeship, my priorities for self-learning is to acheive certifications from Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco and any other vendors. I would also like to work towards certifications in the field of data and information security. Aside from certifications - I also have good hands on experience with domain management, website and associated mail security.
